Fans accuse Mel B of lying after she 'fakes' the results of a 'terrifying attack'

Mel B has hit out at the 'sick person' who slashed the tyres of her Range Rover while she was at home with her family. 

Posting a picture of the damaged tyre to Instagram she ensured that despite the attack, all of the family were "safe".

"Just when things are going sooo well, my car gets deliberately slashed, what dangerous sick person would do that to a mother who uses her car to drive her kids to school and back #stopabuse #stopbullying just #stop#monster #karma," she wrote.

"When I took off my tyre to change it just now to my shock horror there were exactly 33 small knife slashes and 2 huge knife slashes all on the inside of the tyer soooo frightening on a different leval, me and my kids are safe thank god [sic]."

Despite Mel's claims, it seems that fans aren't convinced that she was actually the target of an attack.

One fan explained how this wasn't the result of a slashed tyre, but instead because of an underinflated tyre which led to a blowout:

"It's not been slashed!!! Take a good hard look at the picture, you can see a nail in the tyre top left for a kick off. Mel B needs to take this down as she's making a fool of her self as it was her that put lives in danger driving on a tyre in that state..."

While others took a less aggressive approach in explaining what had happened:

"No way, she's been running on a flat tyre, looks like it might be a run flat so easy done. Deffo not a knife haha!"

Mel can be forgiven for thinking that she was attacked though, as she was the victim of tyre sabotage earlier this year.

As well as dealing with her tyre issues, Mel and the other Spice Girls are currently preparing for their return tour.
