George Michael’s legendary Faith era is set to make a cinematic comeback, with a newly restored concert film giving fans the chance to experience it like never before.
George Michael: The Faith Tour brings together rare footage captured during the pop icon’s 1988 global tour, widely considered a defining moment in his career. The film centres on two performances recorded at Paris’ Palais Omnisports de Bercy during the European leg, showcasing George Michael at the peak of his powers.
The project is being developed by George Michael Entertainment alongside Mercury Studios, with plans for a worldwide cinema release later this year.
Fans will also get new music to go with it. An 18-track live album, The Faith Tour, will arrive alongside the film, featuring previously unreleased recordings spanning both his solo hits and favourites from his time in Wham!. Together, the release offers a fresh celebration of the Faith era, the period that helped define George Michael as one of pop’s most influential artists.
