John Farnham will be back in New Zealand in just three weeks, playing in Wellington Thursday 7 March and Auckland Saturday 9 March.

John has released 19 studio albums, 19 compilation albums and 74 singles in 50 years.

Before John had major success with his singing career, he started as a tradie. In true Australian fashion.

"Not long after I started, my dad said to me: When you do a job and you know that you did the best that you could do, then you can walk away proud.'"

John says that he's taken that idea from his dad and used it throughout his career as a performing artist.

"I can't save anything for tomorrow, when I go out and perform, I give it all I've and I'm spent by the end of it."
