She didn't sing when she appeared on stage last Wednesday night, but she did blow out her candles for her 75th birthday.

'JONI 75: A Celebration Live at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion' celebrated Joni's 75th birthday over two sold-out nights at the Music Centre, but only on the second night did Joni get to have her cake.

Joni was joined at the event by plenty of her friends who performed their music for the sold-out concert on both nights.

Among the performers: James Taylor, Brandi Carlile, Chaka Khan, Kris Kristofferson, Rufus Wainwright, Emmylou Harris, Glen Hansard, Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Los Lobos, Graham Nash, and Seal. Percussionist Brian Blade and pianist, composer, arranger, and producer Jon Cowherd are serving as musical directors, overseeing the backing band for this rotating cast of stars.

Near the end of the show, the whole cast got on stage to perform Joni's hit, 'Big Yellow Taxi'.

What an amazing concert!
