Kate Middleton shares four new handsome photos of Prince Louis to mark his fourth birthday

The past weekend was all about Prince Louis!

In celebration of the young royal's fourth birthday on Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared four new portraits of their youngest son.

The sweet snaps show the little prince playing and running on a sandy beach while flashing an adorable smile at the camera.

Wearing turquoise shorts and a grey sweater with stars on it, the prince also playfully holds a cricket ball.

According to the royal's official Instagram account, the photos - which were shot by Kate Middleton - were taken earlier this month near the family's country home in Norfolk.

"Thank you for all the lovely birthday messages for Prince Louis today!" reads a statement from Kensington Palace, which was released alongside the photos on social media.
