Following Loretta Lynn's passing earlier this month, a host of celebrities have paid their respects to the country superstar ... but this week an unexpected tribute emerged.

Taking to the stage on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly Clarkson teamed up with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for a sweet country duet of Lynn's 'Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind).'

The duo performed the entire track, with The Rock managing to keep up with the American Idol winner.

"I love Loretta Lynn," Johnson said following the performance. "I loved her growing up, and I grew up on country music — traditional country music, like, three chords and the truth, twin fiddle, steel guitar kind of country music."

Johnson also revealed he lived in Tennessee and hung out in Nashville bars when he was 15 years old.

"I shouldn't have been doing, but I was already like 6'4", 220 (lbs) with a moustache," he said. "My dream was that I was gonna be a country singer."

Lynn died on October 4, at the age of 90.
