Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert are stirring rumours that they will be teaming up for a duet...

The two powerhouse singer-songwriters teased performances together in an exchange on X (formerly Twitter).

A post by a Clarkson fan account on August 28 reads, “I pray Kelly duets with Miranda Lambert when she’s on the show [The Kelly Clarkson Show] this season!”

Miranda, who is set to receive the Icon Award at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards later this month, reposted it with a message to Kelly: “[Kelly Clarkson] what do you say we sing some songs together?”

Kelly then replied in her own post, saying "Let's do it"

Kelly is well known for performing iconic covers of iconic hits with her genre-spanning Kellyoke performances, including plenty of Country covers. Earlier this year she covered Miranda's Tin Man.

She's also covered hits by The Judds, Keith Urban, Maren Morris, Lainey Wilson, Brooks & Dunn and many others.
