Kelly Clarkson and The Voice coaches wow with soulful Aretha Franklin mashup

The latest season of The Voice got off to a star-studded start this week as Kelly Clarkson joined forces with her fellow coaches to perform a soul-filled medley.

Starring alongside Blake Shelton, John Legend and Ariana Grande, the four stars wowed as they took to the stage together to open the show with a mashup of classics by Aretha Franklin and Sam & Dave.

Shelton and Legend kicked things off with a duet of 'Hold On, I’m Coming' by Sam & Dave, before Clarkson and Grande strutted onto the stage and blended their powerhouse voices on Franklin's legendary 'Respect.'

To end, the ladies were joined by the guys for an incredible four-way finish.
