Kelly Clarkson wows with stripped-back piano rendition of ABBA's 'Dancing Queen'

Kelly Clarkson never disappoints with a cover.

And the American Idol winner has proven once again that she can truly sing anything, with her latest rendition.

As part of her talk show's daily Kellyoke segment, the three-time Grammy winner delivered a stripped-back performance of ABBA's iconic hit 'Dancing Queen.'

Transforming the dance classic into an emotional, heartfelt piano ballad, the 39-year-old singer added her own crisp, original vocal runs as she belted out the song.

Released in 1976, 'Dancing Queen' was a worldwide hit. It became ABBA's only number one hit in the United States, and topped the charts in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany and Rhodesia.

In 2015, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
