Kevin Bacon gives sweet shoutout to boy who went viral with his 'hilarious' dance moves at school

A nine-year-old boy has gone viral around the world after he stole the show with his "hilarious" dance moves during an elementary school performance.

And Footloose's Kevin Bacon is impressed!

Tripp Thomure was on stage with his Ralls County Elementary School class in Missouri when he let the music take control.

His mother captured the moment as her young son began writhing and gyrating his hips, later taking to TikTok to share the footage of his moves.

The clip quickly amassed over eight million views, with more than half a million likes and nearly 8,000 comments.

One of those commenters was none other than the 63-year-old actor, who famously could not contain his own explosive moves in the 1984 classic dance film.

"Nothing to be ashamed of, just some great moves," Bacon wrote, adding a thumbs-up emoji.
