Kiwi hammer thrower Julia Ratcliffe won her third Commonwealth Games medal with a silver in Birmingham.

The defending Commonwealth Games champion was no match for world champion Camryn Rogers who had just one successful attempt of her six - but the 74.08m effort was easily enough to take gold.

Uila Mau'u has won New Zealand's first and only boxing medal at the Games, taking home a bronze in the men's super heavyweight competition.

Meanwhile, Selina Goddard and Katelyn Inch secured New Zealand's third and final lawn bowls bronze medal of the Games.

They beat Malaysia in the playoff for third in the women's pairs, 20-15, bringing the Kiwi campaign on the greens at the Royal Leamington Spa Bowling Club to a successful end.

Congratulations to all our athletes!
