Lindsey Buckingham wows with 'Go Your Own Way' performance following open-heart surgery

Performing live on stage for the first time since he underwent open-heart surgery, former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham wowed viewers on the season finale of American Idol.

Belting out his iconic hit 'Go Your Own Way' with former contestant Cassandra Coleman, the 71-year-old seems to have recovered well after his vocal cords were damaged during the emergency operation in 2019.

Buckingham was fired from Fleetwood Mac in April 2018.

He was replaced by Neil Finn and Mike Campbell, formerly of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.
