Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the late Elvis Presley, has died after she suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.

Her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed her death in a statement, writing: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.

"She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known."

According to TMZ, paramedics performed CPR on Presley before she was transported to the hospital.
