Lorde performs stunning stripped-back cover of Phil Collins' hit 'In The Air Tonight'

It may only be Monday, but we're throwing it back to 2017 to when Lorde performed a stunning stripped-back cover of Phil Collins's hit 'In The Air Tonight.'

Stopping by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, the Kiwi singer belted out her rendition of the iconic 1981 single after giving a performance of 'Green Light.'

And she kept the legendary drum solo!

Collins wrote the song amid the grief he felt after divorcing his first wife Andrea Bertorelli in 1980.

The song reached the top 10 in at least 13 countries, has sold over 3 million copies in the United States and has arguably become his signature song.
