Macaulay Culkin is engaged after recently welcoming his first child

Congratulations are in order for Macaulay Culkin!

The child star proposed to his partner Branda Song, just a few months after they welcomed their first child into the world.

Song, 33, confirmed the exciting news on January 25 while stepping out in Beverly Hills with a gorgeous diamond ring on her ring finger.

The actress gave birth to a baby boy named Dakota Song Culkin - after Culkin's late sister, who passed away in 2008 - on Monday 5 April, in Los Angeles.

While the private pair kept Song's pregnancy out of the spotlight, Culkin's rep confirmed the arrival of their son.

"We are overjoyed," the stars said in a statement at the time.
