Mattel's new Barbie doll is simply the best!

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Tina Turner's chart-topping hit 'What’s Love Got to Do With It,' the toy company has announced it's releasing a new doll modelled after the legendary singer as part of its Signature Music Series collection.

The doll's outfit pays homage to the song - which won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 1985 Grammy Awards - by recreating Turner's ensemble from its music video.

With her teased blonde hair, the Tina Turner Barbie® doll wears a denim jacket and black mini dress that highlights her famously long legs.

Other details of the doll's ensemble include pearl-like drop earrings, a microphone, and the singer’s signature red lipstick with matching nail polish.

Turner herself worked closely with the Barbie team to help create the look of the doll.

"I am honoured to welcome my Barbie into the group of trailblazing women already represented and introduce more kids to my journey," Turner said in a press release.

On its website, the brand added: "She went from singing as a young girl in her rural church choir in Nutbush, Tennessee, to becoming the legendary performer hailed as the undisputed 'Queen of Rock 'n Roll.'

"Barbie celebrates the unprecedented music career and journey of Tina Turner. She is a Grammy-winning, chart-topping singer, and one of the best-selling recording artists of all time."

The limited-edition doll is available to purchase online, though it has already sold out at some retailers.

Turner’s last studio album, Twenty Four Seven, was released more than two decades ago in 1999.

She currently lives in Switzerland with her husband, Erwin Bach, and has been plagued by ill health in recent years including a stroke, cancer and a kidney transplant.
