Matty's heartfelt post

Matty has been gracing our screens every morning on TVNZ1's 'Breakfast' for about a year now, and by the looks of it, he's loved every minute of it.

If it wasn't his bromance with co-host Jack Tame that was bringing a smile to our faces, it was his shenanigans with Brodie Kane.

Matty shared this snap on his Instagram account just three days ago which shows the team hanging out at the Glass Goose together.

What a year. This time last year I was on my OE in London...a couple of weeks later the @breakfaston1 boss called and asked if I’d consider moving home to work on the show. It was a whirlwind decision, but I do not regret it for a second. The team on Breakfast is incredible, and we’ve become a family. We’ll see you all again January 2018! x
