Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger is set to undergo a heart valve replacement surgery.Â
It comes after the postponement of the Rolling Stones North American tour after Jagger was told to rest by his doctors.Â
I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this.

I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.
Sources have told the Drudge Report, however, that the singer would be undergoing heart valve replacement surgery and was expected to make a full recovery. They also said that Mick Jagger was in 'extraordinary condition'.Â
"Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment," said the Rolling Stones in a statement posted to their social media.Â

The tour was scheduled to start in Florida on April 20, but it is now unclear when the tour will instead take place.Â
