New photos of Prince Louis have been released to mark his FIRST birthday - and he is ADORABLE!

Apart from a few official portraits, the world has seen very little of Prince Louis.

But get ready for your heart to explode, because never-before-seen photos of the young royal have just been released in honour of his first birthday today!

The adorable snaps show the little prince smiling - showing off two new teeth - as he sits patiently in the garden.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share these new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow 🎈 The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.‬

According to reports, the photos - which were shot by Kate Middleton - were taken earlier this month in the grounds of the Cambridge's Anmer Hall home in Norfolk.

Dressed in a denim blue Thomas Brown “Little Puppy” knitted sweater, the birthday boy looks positively angelic - and we are getting major flashbacks to Prince William at this age.

Besides the family's traditional photo on the Lindo Wing steps, Prince Louis has only been seen on a handful of occasions.

The last time royal fans got a glimpse of the youngster - who was born on April 23 - was in December, when the Palace released a photo of the little boy in the arms of his mother for the Cambridge's annual Christmas card.

According to sources, the littlest royal is a very "happy" baby.

"He really is the most cheerful, smiley little boy – he’s always so happy and content," one source said.
