Olivia Newton-John reveals how she is remaining positive despite her battle with cancer

Olivia Newton-John was first diagnosed with cancer back in 1992, since then, the disease has returned has returned twice - once in 2013 and then again in 2017.

In a video that Olivia shared at the start of the year, she said that she was doing better than ever.

“The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated, I’m doing great and I want to wish you all the happiest, healthiest 2019 as possible," the star joked as she realised the silliness of the situation.

Olivia now spends her time between projects, one artistic and the other philanthropic as well as being the subject of a new movie that releasing soon called 'Hopelessly Devoted to You'.

The star's battle with cancer and her determination to beat it is one of the main features of the film.

While she managed to keep her diagnosis in 2013 under wraps, when it came back in 2017, she decided to go public with it - something that will be covered in the film. 

“I’m a now person. No one knows about the future, you only know the moment you’re living in, and I’m grateful for that moment. I tend not to look back,” she told The Arizona Republic in 2017.
