Pentatonix announce they will be performing a global livestream Christmas concert

Pentatonix want to celebrate the festive season with YOU.

The a capella sensations have announced they will be performing a global livestream Christmas concert, Pentatonix: The Evergreen Experience, on December 20 at 1.30pm NZDT.

The show will be broadcast worldwide from the quintet's performance in Louisville, Kentucky and will feature songs from their new holiday album Evergreen as well as some of their holiday favourites.

The concert will also be a first in Pentatonix history, as the five singers - Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee - will incorporate a piano, cello and drums in their set.

Scott Hoying said: "This is such a special show for us and such a great experience to perform on our first tour in two years, so we wanted all our fans around the world to get a chance to see it.

The new album features 14-festive tracks, including We Wish You a Merry Christmas and It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.
