Last night, some of the biggest names in music took to the stage at the 2022 American Music Awards in Los Angeles

Including Pink to pay special tribute to Olivia Newton-John, who died of breast cancer at age 73 in August.

Taking centre stage during the awards ceremony, the pop star showed off her powerhouse vocals with an emotional rendition of the Grease star's iconic song, 'Hopelessly Devoted to You.'

As she sang in a champagne-coloured gown, images of Newton-John were shown on a screen behind her, bringing some audience members to tears.

Ahead of the performance, Pink said getting the chance to pay homage to Newton-John was "an absolute honour."

"I had the pleasure of being around her several times, and she was as darling as you would imagine," she said.

"She was such an icon, and it's a really big honour to be able to sing her [music]."

Pink's tribute to Newton-John was her second performance of the night.

Earlier in the evening, she sang her new single 'Never Gonna Not Dance Again,' from her upcoming album Trustfall.
