Police Name Woman Who Died After Kidnapping

Police have released the name of the woman who died from injuries she sustained from jumping out of a car, bound and gagged, in Papatoetoe.
She was Jindarat Prutsiriporn, aged 50 of Auckland.
Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Jindarat had some involvement in the organised crime scene within Auckland, police said.
Detective Inspector Dave Lynch said a team of 17 were continuing to assess information being received from the public.
"We are still appealing for sightings of a late model silver vehicle in Papatoetoe and surrounding areas on the evening of March 1, 2016."
