Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived hand-in-hand with Prince George and Princess Charlotte for Prince Philip's memorial service today.

The service - which was attended by around 1,800 guests - celebrated the life of William's grandfather, who served alongside the Queen for the majority of her seven-decade-long reign.

Kate looked as elegant as always for the occasion, wearing a new black and white polka dot Alessandra Rich dress which she paired with elegant silver droplet earrings.

Joined by their eldest son, eight-year-old George wore a smart navy suit for the occasion, while Charlotte, six, wore a navy coat dress with a matching ribbon in her hair.

The youngest Cambridge, three-year-old Prince Louis, did not join his siblings and parents for the service.

The Queen is said to have personally overseen the planning of the memorial - which was held at Westminster Abbey - including several elements the Duke had planned for his funeral at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle last year but which were forbidden by Covid restrictions at the time.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle did not attend the memorial service.

Philip passed away in April last year, aged 99.
