A royal reunion has brought Prince Harry and King Charles together for the first time in more than a year.
The Spare author was photographed on Wednesday (September 10) riding in a black SUV on his way to see his father at Clarence House, the monarch's home in London, arriving at the residence around 5:20 p.m. local time, per Page Six. The royals were said to be meeting for "a private tea," and spoke for nearly an hour.
The Daily Mail reports that the Duke of Sussex said his father was doing "great" while at a reception for the Invictus Games after the meeting.
Harry traveled to the U.K. alone where he attended several charity events and visited the grave of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II on Monday (September 8), the third anniversary of her death. His family, including wife Meghan Markle and children Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, remained in the U.S.

The reunion marks the first time the royal father and son have seen each other in over a year. Harry met with the king in February 2024 shortly after his cancer diagnosis was publicly announced.
During a visit to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital last week, the monarch gave a rare health update while speaking to other cancer patients, sharing insight into his own cancer journey.
