Queen's Brian May shares adorable moment with a recovering koala before bushfire relief concert

As Queen were preparing to grace the stage at ANZ stadium in Sydney, legendary guitarist Brian May managed to find time to hang out with an "adorable" koala named Bear. 

May took to Instagram to share a video of the moment, which shows him playing guitar to the koala who is clinging to May's shoulder. 

“Visiting time ! A precious moment with Bear — an adorable rescued Koala — in the RSPCA Animal Hospital, Wacol, Brisbane. These people are doing an incredible job of caring for the survivors of the tragic Queensland fires. They need our support.”

Queen, along with Adam Lambert performed in front of 70,000 screaming fans as the band played their part in raising over $9 million in aid of those affected by the Australian bushfires.

For the first time since 1985, the band re-enacted their iconic 22-minute Live Aid set.

The set - which was originally performed by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon at London's Wembley Stadium - is regarded as one of the greatest live performances of all time.

The concert also featured music legends Alice Cooper, Icehouse, John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John.
