Rick Astley performs incredible stripped-back piano cover of ABBA's 'The Winner Takes It All'

Taking to social media in celebration of ABBA's new music, Rick Astley surprised fans with an incredible cover of their 1980 anthem 'The Winner Takes It All'.

Putting his own spin on the hit song, Astley opted for a stunningly stripped-back rendition showcasing his breathtaking vocals.

'The Winner Takes It All' was a massive number one hit for ABBA.

Björn Ulvaeus has denied that the song is about his and Agnetha's divorce, instead saying it's about divorce in general and the emotions that come with it.

He said: "It is the experience of a divorce, but it's fiction. There wasn't a winner or a loser in our case. A lot of people think it's straight out of reality, but it's not."
