Rock & Roll pioneer Little Richard has died, aged 87

Legend of Rock and Roll, Little Richard has passed away this morning after a battle with bone cancer.Â
Little Richard sold over 30 million solo records worldwide, but was also a major influence to some of the biggest rockers of all time, including The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival and David Bowie.Â
Tributes have flown in for the music icon on social media, including messages from Bob Dylan and Keith Richards as news of his passing continues to break around the world.Â
I just heard the news about Little Richard and I’m so grieved. He was my shining star and guiding light back when I was only a little boy. His was the original spirit that moved me to do everything I would do.

Known for his flamboyant style, Little Richard burst onto the scene in the 50s with his smash hit Tutti Frutti.Â
