Due to ongoing travel restrictions and border closures in New Zealand, the Rod Stewart – The Hits! 2020 tour - which was originally scheduled for November 2020 - has been rescheduled.

Rod Stewart announced the news, saying: "Hi guys, Rod Stewart here, I'm so sorry to say my tour this year has been postponed.

"BUT I'll be there in 2022, March and April, and it’s going to be GREAT! Hold on to your tickets."

The rocker will now perform in Napier and Dunedin in April 2022.

The rescheduled dates are:

DUNEDIN FORSYTH BARR STADIUM
Wednesday 6 Apr 2022 (Previously Wednesday 11 Nov 2020)

NAPIER MISSION ESTATE WINERY
Saturday 9 Apr 2022 (Previously Saturday 14 Nov 2020)

NAPIER MISSION ESTATE WINERY
Sunday 10 Apr 2022 (Previously Sunday 15 Nov 2020)

All existing tickets for the Dunedin performance will remain valid for the new date without the need to exchange – no need to do anything, just hold on to your tickets.

In Napier, for Mission Concert Ticket holders you will have received an email detailing your options to retain your tickets or cancel your booking. Detailed information is available on the Mission concert website www.missionconcert.co.nz.

Patrons who are unable to attend the rescheduled shows will be entitled to a full refund from their authorised point of purchase, however, they will need to submit refund requests within 30 days from notification.

Live Nation apologises to any ticketholders who are inconvenienced by these rescheduled dates, and thanks fans for their support and understanding during these unprecedented circumstances.
