There's no denying 2018 has been a MASSIVE year for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

First, they got married.

Then, they headed out on their first official royal tour of Australia and New Zealand as husband and wife.

AND they announced they're expecting their first child.

But to top it all off, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have now had a human-sized cake made of them.

British baker, Lara Mason, spent over 250 hours across six weeks sculpting the royals out of cake and icing.

Made with 300 eggs and 50kgs of fondant, the 300-pound cake, which can feed up to 1,000 people, really is life-size.

Harry stands at 6'2, while Meghan hits 5'11 in her heels.

Everything except the frame is edible, including their wedding rings, Harry's baby bag, and Meghan's baby book.

Speaking about the cake – which is on display at the annual Cake International at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre - Lara said: "It was my biggest challenge to date. The faces were the hardest part and half-way through I worried I didn’t have any likeness at all."

Lara has also made cakes of the Queen, Princess Diana, Prince William, Prince George, the crown jewels and the Queen’s beloved corgi, who passed away just a few weeks ago.

Maybe Harry and Meghan's royal baby will be the next sculpture on Lara’s list?
