Shania Twain couldn’t help but notice “a sweet moment” unfolding during one of her shows in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Shania shared a video recorded by a concert goer on Instagram Tuesday afternoon. During her rendition of You’re Still The One, a powerful ballad that appears on late '90s album Come On Over, she noticed some fans feeling emotional and approached to ask what the song meant to them.
“He was holding his wife and crying for this song, and then we all started crying,” a woman in a cowgirl hat said when Shania held the microphone out to her. The woman glanced toward a man who attended Shania’s show with his wife, and told Shania, “this is the best song ever.”
“You're still the one I run to/ The one that I belong to/ You're still the one I want for life/ You're still the one that I love/ The only one I dream of/ You're still the one I kiss goodnight” she turned to the “beautiful couple,” and said “I don’t want you to cry over this song, but does the song mean something special to you?” The man stepped up to the mic and replied, “the love of my life is with me, and I’m having the best time of my life.”
