Stevie Nicks makes her Met Gala debut in pure Stevie style!
Stevie Nicks attended the star-studded Met Gala for the first time on May 4th, 2026, making her debut at the annual fashion event at the age of 77. The Fleetwood Mac singer appeared at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a custom navy and black gown designed for her by John Galliano for Zara, paired with a statement top hat and her signature long blonde hair.
The theme of the evening, Fashion Is Art, was interpreted by Nicks through her well‑known personal style, standing out among a range of more theatrical looks on the red carpet. Rather than transforming her image, she leaned into the aesthetic she has been known for throughout her career, and the public has not been disappointed.
Her appearance also reflected a long‑standing connection with Vogue, which organises the Met Gala. Nicks has previously spoken about reading the magazine during her early career in the 1970s, long before her rise to international fame.
Nicks' attendance marked a milestone moment, combining decades of influence in music and fashion with her first invitation to one of the industry’s most high‑profile events.
