Prince William's visit to Christchurch to honour the victims of the terror attack might mean he is out of the country when his first nephew or niece is born.
The Duke of Cambridge is set to visit New Zealand next month, at the request of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
He will be visiting Christchurch on behalf of the Queen, to pay their respects to the victims of the mosques terrorist attack.
Prince William visited New Zealand in 2011 following the Christchurch earthquakes.
Despite no official announcement on the next royal baby's due date, Meghan Markle was heard telling fans in January that the baby was expected in "late April".
If confirmed, this means Prince William might be in New Zealand when his brother's first child is born.
