Along with Love Actually, The Holiday is one of those iconic Christmas movies that you can watch year after year, and never get bored of.

The movie is now 12 years old, but with a cast consisting of Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, and Jack Black - it's certainly memorable.

That cottage in Surrey that was the inspiration behind the little house in the movie (unfortunately Rose Cottage was just a set) has come up for sale.

It is called the Honeysuckle Cottage and is located in Holmbury St Mary, North Dorking.

The listing is described as a "stunning extended period cottage with ironstone galleting and brick quoins under a tiled roof complemented by leaded light windows".

"The property retains many character features including an inglenook fireplace with Jotul log burner and exposed timbers."

Owing a piece of Christmas history does come with a price though - it has been listed for £650,000 (NZ$1.195m).
