The official trailer for 'The Handmaid’s Tale' season four has been released - and it looks intense

The full official trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale fourth season has been unveiled and it looks intense!

In the new taster, fans finally get to see what happens to Offred/June, played by Elisabeth Moss, after the third season's shocking finale and it doesn't look like things will be getting any easier for her in season four.

The exciting new video clip for dystopian TV series – based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel – shows June and the other handmaids who didn't escape trying to take down Gilead from the inside, and potentially even make it out too?!

As the trailer goes on more of the show's characters - including Nick (Max Minghella), Moira (Samira Wiley) and Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) - appear, many discussing June as she fights for freedom.

We cannot wait to see how it all unfolds!

The show will be officially released in New Zealand on April 28 on the streaming service Neon - fast-tracked from the US! We can't wait!

In the meantime, we'll be binge-watching the first three seasons again!
