Since its release in May, Rocketman has been the movie on everyone's lips.

Including those of comedian, Rob Delaney.

The 42-year-old, who has starred in films such as Deadpool 2 and The Hustle, has revealed he was supposed to have a cameo in Elton John's biopic, but later discovered he does not appear in the final cut of the film.

"I did shoot a couple of scenes in the film as a guy named Elvis Presley, who you may have heard of, and they even dyed my hair black for it," Delaney said.

"My hair is black in another movie because of playing Elvis in Rocketman, which got cut, which is very funny, but that's just the way the ball bounces sometimes.

"I know when Sharon Horgan and I were making Catastrophe, we would frequently cut out things that we really enjoyed, just for time, so I bear no ill-will towards the makers of Rocketman," he added.

While he doesn't blame the filmmakers for cutting his cameo, the natural brunette does blame them for leaving him with jet black hair for months after filming.

Speaking to BBC Radio 6 Music in June, Delaney revealed he was left with black hair for six months after shooting, as the hair artists accidentally used permanent dye instead of a temporary one.

Whoops!

Rocketman, which is directed by Dexter Fletcher, takes a look into the legendary musician's influential career and at the highs and lows of his personal life.

The film stars Taron Egerton, Richard Madden, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jamie Bell and Gemma Jones.
