At U2's first show of 2024, for the first time, the band covered Crowded House's Don't Dream It's Over at the Las Vegas Sphere.

The song was performed in tribute to the Australian band’s frontman Neil Finn, Tim Finn, his brother and longtime creative collaborator, and their mother Mary.

Neil reacted to the cover in a post on Crowded House’s Instagram Story saying, “Bono has the best memory ever…I told him in 1980 that my mother Mary was born in Limerick,” he wrote, adding, “We’re touched to get a @u2 dedication.. thanks fellas.”
