Why fans don't like the new version of 'The Chase'

In the UK, 'The Chase' has been running a new format of the show where they put whole families up against the Chasers.

Initially, this seemed like a very captivating format of the show, but viewers are dropping off by the dozen, and the die-hard fans really really don't like this new format.

Their criticism has even gotten a little harsher with the families being involved: 

“Don't like Family version of #TheChase. They won't stab the others in the back and will still share money anyway if they get caught,”

“And, of course, a key feature of the show is that elimination means you get nothing. This? 'Dad, here's your share.' 

They certainly aren't holding back these days...
