Nigel Latta has revealed he called 111 after a tiler he had fired from working on his home tried to ram his car into his gate.

The television personality posted about the incident on Facebook, saying he fired the tiler after "weeks of delays, poor work, and damage all over our property".

Latta then had to call police "because he tries to ram his car into our gate [where I am actually standing just by the by].

"Stopped him with some quick thinking and the promise of dropping one of his cement bags on his bonnet," wrote Latta.

"Not going to publicly name him here now. One thing I've learned is that it's best not to poke angry unpredictable people when they're angry and unpredictable. I will, however, in the near future be placing a very honest review on No Cowboys where we got him from... based on 33 authenticated 100% reviews... go figure?"

Latta later asked for recommendations for a new tiler on Twitter.

"Anyone know good readylawn installers? Went very very very bad with a tiler & so only want personal recommendations now," he wrote.
