The 2019 Oscars was an eventful night for Rami Malek.

While he did take out the award for lead actor in Bohemian Rhapsody, he took a bit of a tumble when trying to negotiate the stairs off the stage.

With his Oscar in hand, Rami slipped down the stairs as everyone was leaving the Dolby theatre after the proceedings had finished.

Rami managed to make it back to his seat after the tumble, where minders and medics rushed over and discretely treated Rami for his injuries.

The Bohemian Rhapsody star returned to the stage once more, but then was escorted out via the wings by medics who later confirmed that Rami didn't suffer any serious injuries.
