Why the Queen was reported to UK police yesterday

The Queen is possibly the last person that you would expect to be reported to police for breaking the law.

But it has happened - someone called the police because the queen wasn't wearing a seat belt.

The West Yorkshire police received a call about the royal's illegal antics whilst en-route to Westminster.

This is not just against the law, but it is also against the royal family's own code of practice.

"The Queen is careful to ensure that all her activities in her personal capacities are carried out in strict accordance with the law." 

Although it is a dangerous thing to do, no actions can be taken against the Queen because of UK law.
