It's exactly the same debate as most of New Zealand has had around tomato sauce, but where should you be storing your chocolate?

Apparently not in the fridge...

According to Luke Owen from the chocolate bar, storing chocolate in the fridge will cause it to be "dull" and it won't "release the flavours."

Instead of the fridge, Owen says that chocolate should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place as the extremely cold temperatures will mess with the temper just as much as extremely hot temperatures would.

If you are having trouble with chocolate melting at room temperature, put it into a sealed container and take it out ten minutes before you plan to eat it.

This way the flavours will release, but you won't have to deal with a melted mess.
