Matthew McConaughey, who once was Sexiest Man Alive, exchanged his beach body for a beer belly when he filmed scenes for his upcoming movie, Gold, this past week in New York City.
Fans of McConaughey know all too well that the actor isn't afraid to transform his figure and physique for a movie role.
The Texan actor – who shed pounds to play a rodeo cowboy with Aids in Dallas Buyers Club (2013) and bulked up to play a muscle-bound stripper in Magic Mike (2012) – will portray unlucky modern-day prospector Kenny Wells in the mining drama.
