Bones now reach their maximum strength, so eat three servings of dairy foods each day.

Top up your intake of foods containing folic acid to help ensure a healthy pregnancy - eat wholegrains or leafy-green veggies daily. If you already have a family and life is hectic, eat slow burning carbs at each meal to keep your blood sugar stable (wholewheat pasta, basmati rice and grainy breads).

Go for lean portions, oily fish and seed oils (rapeseed or sunflower oil) to help maintain their health.
