Hugh Jackman says one of his great childhood regrets was not taking dancing lessons because someone called him a 'sissy'. The actor was 12 years old at the time. He had a teacher at a school concert who pulled him aside and told him he had talent and should go dance. But someone he knew then called him a sissy and he didn't do it. At 19 Jackman signed up for dance lessons and went on to win a Tony Award for his singing, dancing performance as Peter Allen in The Boy from Oz.
