On this day in 1991, the legendary comedian Billy T. James passed away.
The much-loved entertainer was just 43 when he died of heart failure.
This morning we spoke to his friend Peter Rowley about how he found out about the comedian's death and the legacy he has ingrained in the New Zealand entertainment industry.
