In 1979, Fleetwood Mac were on top of the world following their release of 'Tusk'.

So to celebrate its 40th anniversary TODAY, we couldn't resist sharing the official music video for the drum-driven hit.

The song - which was released on 19 September 1979 as the title track from the album Tusk - was created from the rehearsal riff that Lindsey Buckingham used for sound-checks.

The band also teamed up with University of Southern California's Trojan Marching Band to play on the single, with the footage from their recording session in Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium featuring in song's music video.

John McVie was in Tahiti during the Dodger Stadium recording, but he is represented in the video by a cardboard cutout carried around by Mick Fleetwood and later positioned in the stands with the other band members.
