"Somethin' Stupid" was written by C. Carson Parks and originally recorded in 1966 by Parks and his wife, Gaile Foote, as Carson and Gaile. Frank Sinatra played Parks' recording to Nancy Sinatra's then producer, Lee Hazelwood, who recalled, "He asked me, 'Do you like it?', and I said, 'I love it, and if you don't sing it with Nancy, I will.' Frank said, 'We're gonna do it, book a studio.'

This clip features some of the shots taken at that recording session on 1 February, 1967.
