Experts say that we shouldn't be washing our faces in the shower.
Apparently the scorching water can really damage our skin.
Skin expert Dr Tanzi has told The Gloss that she recommends we wash our faces at the sink.
"You can gauge the temperature more effectively," she says, "and should use lukewarm to cold water, which is better for delicate faces."
It turns out that the hot water can leave skin dehydrated in the long run.
Another issue that can also occur is that if you're one of those people who stay in the shower until your fingertips are wrinkly, then there'll be a lot more water going on your face than there would be if you washed in the sink. This'll actually leave your skin dehydrated too.
So for fantastic skin, save your face for the sink.
