Manu the Taniwha has lived in a creek on the boundary of our place as long as I can remember. My kids have often fed him and taken him treats over the years.

Our neighbour who shares the boundary regularly feeds Manu and his Whānau which explains their epic proportions. I would definitely not be getting my fingers anywhere near that mouth.

Reminds me of the movie Lake Placid where Betty White over-feeds her pet alligator which grows into a real monster.
